A Little Bit About Me
Aslamu Alakum, I have been born and brought up in Ontario, Canada (been residing with family in Toronto for the past 9 years) belonging to a Pakistani ethnicity and family, so I consider myself in having a balance in eastern and western culture/values in respect to our faith. (Well hope at least I do:)

I have recently returned to Canada from the UK completing a LLB: Accelerated Graduate Law Degree and now in the conversion process. Alhumdillah, I had a enlightening experience abroad and I was also able to perform ziyarat to Sham and Iraq for Arabaeen in February 2010.

I try to be sincere and show respect and admiration to those who are elder to me and seek their advice and guidance by implementing them into my daily routines.I'm seeking someone in possessing these elements as well, to ensure there is some form compatibility.

I like spending my free time with good company and friends, whether it be watching a live sports venue, playing a game of basketball or getting together every so often to socialise over food or coffee.

From a reglious perspective, though I believe we should strive to intergrade our deen throughout the course in all our daily activities in life. So I will begin by first saying that no one is perfect in this world apart from the Holy Prophet(pbuh) and his infallible progeny(as). I can only try to become a better Muslim by following in the footsteps of the Ahlulbayt(as). I pray my namaazes regularly and try to be punctual in performing all of them on time. I attend the Mosque and visit the Imam Barghas not only during Muharam and Ramazan, but throughout the year by the grace of Allah(swt), as I believe it is vital to have a balance between deen and dunya. I am trying to increase my limited knowledge in Islam through reading the Holy Quran, Shia digests, magazines, books and watching Islamic lectures and programs both in person and online. Preferably looking for someone with the same craving and desire to improve their deen and ikhlak.

What I Am Looking For
I am seeking a partner who will motivate me in becoming a more pious, and righteous Muslim and hoping I have the opportunity to do the same in return. A spouse I can travel with not only to Ziyarats and Ummarah/Hajj Inshallah, but also around the world as it is a keen hobby of mine. Someone who is simple and not completely materialistic:), laidback, funny, spontaneous, who has a sense of humor but within the boundaries of our deen.

Someone I can rely on in times in need and difficulty and this person should not only become my second half, but also my best friend too. In summary, a spouse who displays acts of good nature.

Someone to go out with (obliviously in halal environments) to restaurants, cafes, bowling, pool, movies and shopping malls. I love the outdoors and enjoy sight seeing. I thoroughly enjoy taking walks/jogs in different parks, and at waterfronts appreciating the natural sights and creations of Allah(swt). Don't get me wrong, spending quiet nights and time at home are ideal to me with family and InshaAlalh also with the company of my life partner in the future.

Preferably this individual should be well educated and pursuing a degree or working in any field that is respectable by profession. However, what is most important to me is that this individual is pure from the heart and should possess an honest and humble personality in character by remembering Allah(swt) at all times. Basically a wife whom embarks Syeda Fatima Zehra(as) and Syeda Zainab(as) as their role models in life. For example, being respectful to all and willing to help those who are in difficulty. Importantly being there first for family and then friends, neighbors, the community and those less fortunate.
